Our Programs
The following is a short summary of the programs currently available through funding received by the Somerset County Local Management Board. If you would like additional information about any of the programs listed, please follow the link for a more expanded view of the program
.Non-Discrimination Policy: All programs, policies, procedures, and activities conducted by and through the Somerset County Local Management Board, its employees, contractors, and subcontractors, shall be conducted without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, marital status, political affiliation, or mental or physical handicap.
Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA)
CMCA is a Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration Model
Program aimed at reducing the availability of alcohol to minors (13-20
years old) by affecting public support of underage alcohol consumption,
changing institutional policies that enable alcohol use by minors, and
enforcement of laws regulating alcohol sales.
Healthy Families Lower Shore
Healthy Families is a home visiting program for any new parent in
Somerset County. Parents can enroll in the program during the
third trimester of pregnancy and until the baby is three weeks old.
Local Care
Team
(LCT)
The LCC meets monthly to review the cases of children with serious
behavioral or mental health needs who may need assistance in finding
appropriate community-based services.
Somerset Family Navigator
Somerset Family Navigator is an information and referral system, with
one-on-one coordination and support for those families navigating
various agencies for services for their child(ren).
K is for College
K is for College is an after school and summer program that provides
educational support, violence prevention, and leadership development
activities for children across Somerset County. The services are
available at the Garland Hayward Youth Center in Princess Anne and the
Village Youth Center in Crisfield.
